Your home is equipped with both a water meter and an outside remote touch read device. We read your meter using our touch read equipment monthly on the weekend closest to the first day of the month. This will vary if the weather is uncooperative, especially in winter.
We are upgrading our meters to a radio-read meter that can be read from the street. This is a multi-year project we began in 2020. Eventually all our meters will be upgraded to the radio-read method.
Once all the meters within the District are read we transfer those readings from our hand held reading device into our billing computer and print billing statements. Your statement is mailed between the 10th and 15th of the month.
Payment is due by the end of the month. Accounts not paid by the end of the month are subject to at $15.00 late payment fee and/or termination of service.
